Traffic & Travel

Petrol

There are  47 petrol stations within 10 miles of Stratfield Turgis. The 2 closest stations are: Turgis Green Service Station (Esso), and Albany Service Station, Hook (Total). However petrol is normally cheaper in Reading!

Local Buses and Trains

The 333 service will take you from Turgis Green or Spanish Green into Basingstoke on Wednesday (and should bring you back the same day!). Reading is a bit trickier, easier to get a train from Bramley, the nearest railway station.

National and Local Trains

Bramley is the nearest railway station with trains into Basingstoke and Reading. These latter two stations provide mainline services to the whole country. Basingstoke for South, Southwest and London Waterloo. Reading for Southwest, North and London Paddington. 

For train travel further afield try the trainline which shows timetable information and allows online booking.

Cycling
