The bus service for those who have difficulty using publlic transport
Basingstoke Rural Ride provides a reliable, comfortable and safe semi scheduled shopping service for those who find difficulty in accessing public transport to Basingstoke town centre.
You can go into basingstoke or in and around the towns and villages listed above.
You can visit family and friends, go shopping and go to shopmobility, visit your doctor or dentist or go for a pub lunch. Transport cannot be used for hospital clinical appointments, admission or discharge.
The drivers will pick you up from your door and take you to the door of your destination.
Simply call 01256 462101 and tell the dispatcher that you would like to register with Basingstoke Rural Ride. There is no charge for registering. The dispatcher will send you an information pack including a registration form to complete and return.
Bokkings are taken from the Friday before each Wednesday. The booking line is open Monday - Friday 8.30am - 12.00 noon and 2.00pm to 4.15pm.

National and Local Trains
Bramley is the nearest railway station with trains into Basingstoke and Reading. These latter two stations provide mainline services to the whole country. Basingstoke for South, Southwest and London Waterloo. Reading for Southwest, North and London Paddington.
