Stratfield Turgis Parish Meeting
Stratfield Turgis has a grand total of 68 electorate (Dec 04 figures), and worryingly the government forecast is there will be 66 by 2009.
The Boundary Commission is reviewing the current ward and councillor structure (Updated information to follow when available) Stratfield Turgis is now in the Pamber and Silchester ward. (Previously Stratfield Turgis was in the Calleva ward (total electorate 4363) of Basingstoke and Deane District. (Click here for ward map). It was made up of Bramley, Hartley Wespall, Mortimer West End, Sherfield on Loddon, Silchester, Stratfield Saye and Stratfield Turgis.)
Stratfield Turgis is in Calleva and Kingsclere (Basingstoke and Deane District) (12766 electorate). The current councilor is Keith Chapman (Conservative) who was elected in May 2005.
Stratfield Turgis is in the Basingstoke Parliamentary Constituency. The current MP is Maria Miller (Conservative), who was elected in May 2005.
